Shoppes at Orchard Hills and Orchard Hills Apartments
On November 5, 2006 Icon Properties broke ground for an exciting new retail development and apartment community. This former apple orchard, located at the corner of Holmans Lane and 10th Street in Jeffersonville, Indiana has been approved for over 100,000 square feet of retail space for lease and several outlots available for sale. The initial development will consist of a 15,000 square foot retail strip building with drive-through and outdoor seating options for a restaurant.
Icon Properties is working with several national and local businesses that include financial institutions, restaurants, apparel, hardware, coffee, salons, electronics, bakeries, office supply, dry cleaning, sporting goods, home décor and many other retailers. These options will give the community a variety of choices.
A 352-unit apartment complex located directly behind the retail section at Holmans Lane and 10th Street could be completed in 19 months. The first phase of the project will have 240 apartments. The first building is scheduled to be completed in November 2007.
Louisville-based ICON Properties plans to spend $16 million to develop Orchard Hills Apartments on the 22 acres. The complex will include 16 apartment buildings, each ranging from 16 to 24 units plus a clubhouse. We are currently pre-leasing. Fern Valley Place
Fern Valley Place located on Fern Valley Road between Jefferson Blvd. and Preston Hwy., is one of Icon Properties newest residential communities that is currently under construction. Fern Valley Place will have 52 houses spread over 10 acres. The homes will have three bedrooms, two bathrooms with a two or three car garage. This community is in a prime location located minutes from the Jefferson mall, grocery stores, etc.... This newest project is scheduled to be completed in 2008.
